Body Count!!! Ice T's freakin' BODY COUNT!! My son saw it on the Croc Rock schedule and shrugged it off as Ice's rap band or something, but I fortunately corrected him and upon first listen of Ice's 'other band' he was a hooked BC fan. BODY COUNT in the house in Allentown!! Faaaawk Yeah. My backyard. They only had one other band listed, so unfortunately, me, my son and my best friend and assistant photographer, Donna, got there early, only to find out there were five bands and Body Count comes on at 12:30 or so. Sooooooooooooooo we sat through a couple hours of total crap warm ups. It was very painful. Then a hardcore band from Queens came on and livened up the place a bit before BC came on. They had a guy in a chicken suit stage diving and stuff, and it helped. Fiiiinnnaaallly!!! The crowd began the chants. BODY - COUNT! BODY - COUNT! It was a good pumped crowd. I knew this was gonna be the shiiiiaaattt!!!!!
The lights go out and the boyz walk out on stage and the theme song begins. I had goose bumps waitin' for bad ass Ice to walk out. The BC theme kicks into high gear and Ice T walks out and the place roars!! "Body Count's in the house", "Body Count's in the house". Ice says "This is my man Vincent Price on bass, got O.T. back here on drums, my homey Dr. X on guitar, on lead guitar my nigga' Ernie f**kin' C. and I'm ICE MUTHA F**KIN' T.....BITCH!!!! it was the freakin' shiiiiiaaatttt!!!!!! They kicked into "Bowels Of the Devil" and the place was raaaaaawwkin'!! The song "Body Count" got the sahhwet pourin'!! Then Ice says "Is there any Slayer fans here?" The place goes apeshit and I'm freakin' out!!! It couldn't be possible. Ice says "Who is the only band to ever do a duet with f**kin' Slayer!!" 'WAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!" They kicked into mutha freakin' "War" and blew the roof clean off. It was amazing.
They did nearly all of the first album. "KKK Bitch" was outrageous!! They have a new cd coming out and they did some new ones including the title track "Murder 4 Hire". It's friggin' awesome. BC is back. "Voodoo" and the classic "There Goes The Neighborhood" brought down the house!! Ernie C. is a freakin' guitar master and Ice is as bad ass as ever!! Then, "Eviiiilll Diiiiiick!!!". F**k Yeah!! Oh my freakin' God!! Coco!!!! Ice T's Playboy model wife Coco comes dancing out in a totally see through black fishnet teddy!!!!Faaaaaaawwwkk!!! Right freakin' in front of me. Ahhhhhhhh!!! Yes! Donna has some pics left and snaps off some gorgeous shots of Coco. Then Ice comes up from behind her and unzips her front baring her voluptuous beauty and buries his face in them!!!!!Hooooollly Shiiiiaaaatt!!! Yes, Donna got pics!!! It was amazing!!! But, the fun didn't stop there!! "Here is your new theme song Allentown"!!!! COP KILLA!!!!!!! F**k Yeah!!!!"F**k the police!! F**k the police!!! They destroyed the place and left to a roaring crowd chanting their name!!! BODY - COUNT, BODY - COUNT!!! Then more...... they came out for a tribute to Jimmy and their classic cover of "Hey Joe". An amazing end for an amazing performance.
BODY COUNT has overcome the tragic deaths of three members and have three new kick ass members to carry on and BC is back in the freakin' house and bad ass as ever!
F**kin' A!!! F**kin' T!!!
