Ahhhhh! The final day of Death. Gonna see some shiiiiaaat today! My son would be rejoining me today and my best friend Donna would be rushing through some earlier priorities and joining us later in the day. What a wonderful weekend. A Louder, Harder, Faster one for sure. Vyagra music definately rules!!

We arrived once again around 12:30. I've never had my ass kicked so early, so much in one weekend, but I could sure get used to this! BELT FED WEAPON would be in my face first and let the death begin!! They were good. Hard and Loud. KRUSIFIRE brought the new school speed, which I'm really starting to love. Then, just as the day before, the roof was removed around 2 o'clock. I had talked to some members of this band called TRY REDEMPTION yesterday, who promised me a butt whoopin' around 2 today, so of course, I was there with my son and Becky, front and center. They did not disappoint. From the far reaches of Colorado, TRY REDEMPTION hit the stage and blew it the f**k up!! They described themselves to me as Deicide with speed, but they were even better than that. A neck wrecking, brutal, pounding, thrashfest. Take Tgod's word. Remember the name TRY REDEMPTION. Heavy ass shiiiiaaatt!! From freakin' Colorado. The sweat had begun to pour early today. The death would continue.... LUPARA kicked some major butt and BEYOND THE FLESH represented us Jersey boys proudly and kicked some major butt as well. As the time neared six, the major part of the entire fest was about to finish this weekend off with a thrash blast.

INCANTATION has been an American Death Metal institution for about 15 years and they got the heat and the crowd turned up a notch. Bring on the speed. Let the neck wrecking begin! SPEED\KILL/HATE did just that. They blazed! Good to hear the thrash once again. Which paved the way for the definition of thrash itself. The original NUCLEAR ASSAULT!!!!!!!!!You can't beat this shiiiaat!! New York thrash. F**kin' AAAAA!! They were unbelievable! Singer John Connely got down into the pit with his guitar and with the bouncers holding his mic did a song there amongst the kids. It was great!! The assualt was on!!! Thrashed a hole in the roof. Damn good to see these guys kicking once again. One of my favorite's of the past five years was on the bill next , showing off a new singer in the lineup. MUSHROOMHEAD, who was the first band I ever brought my son to see, brought it harder, faster and louder than any time I've seen them before (5 Times). The new singer was wicked. They blasted out an awesome set. The best yet that I've ever seen them do. The crowd was rockin'and sweatin'!! MUSHROOMHEAD, man. Hell freakin' yeah!! I couldn't wait to see Testament!! But wait. GOD FORBID? How the hell did they get into this slot. Bad planning man, bad planning. Nu Metal political crap. I don't mind some nu metal. I mind them. Send them and their politics back to MTV. It was a painful set. That's all I'll say.

O.K. Now it's time!! Testament! But wait. Why are the bouncers lining the stage? Oh no. The Vyagra people running the event are up there too. Not good. We were waiting, sweating. Then Chuck walks out. Then the others. The originals. But, they weren't taking their positions. Then the announcement. The PA system caught fire. Torched. Testament's manager came to them and told them to find a way to sneak out without causing a riot, but Chuck and the boys refused. They told us to be patient. They would play through the monitors if they had to. Hey, we didn't care. Testament unplugged. People were scrambling and we were sweating and getting irritable. Their sound guy pulled something out of his butt and saved the day!! They brought in new speakers. Rigged up a PA and although an extra half hour of sweat poured out of us , it was just the beginning. They hit the stage. It was some shit, man. All the originals. Hadn't done Allentown in 20 years. It was crazy. I hadn't done any crowd surfing in about 6 years. I'm usually pinned up front taking pics now or throwing kids up, but the last time I went up was during "Into The Pit" by Testament at The Birch Hill. When they kicked into the song I saw my son flying overhead. I love seeing my son atop the crowd, fist pumping, horns up. Makes me proud. Shiiiaaat! Into the pit I go. I was throwing kids up all over, when finally, I pointed to myself. Got a boost from junior and a few others and Tgod was atop the crowd flying over the rail. It was awesome. The bouncers were high fivin' me, thinkin' I'm nuts. Now, you know the shiiiat is crazy when Tgod is flyin' over the rail! Testament kicked all the old shit unbelievably!! I have no words to describe the magic in the air. What a set, man!!! What a weekend!!! A magical weekend with some good old friends back together. What an event. Thank you Vyagra. You got something started here. I can't hardly wait till next year. And the next. And the next....
